Obituary for Perry Connolly Maxwell Jr.

Perry Connolly Maxwell, age 78, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2018. He was born to Perry Connolly Sr. and Virginia (Bell) Maxwell in Graham, Texas on January 9, 1940. Perry was the CEO and owner of Koelling and Associates, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. He had a long successful career in mechanical engineering consulting sales and became the best of friends with his colleagues and clients. Perry was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, scuba diving, skiing (both on the water and in the snow), and mountain climbing. He was not only an aviator, he was a member of Businessmen’s Flying ASSN. Perry will be remembered for the loving husband, father and grandfather he was, and that his favorite time of the year was every August when he spent time with his loving family at Estes Park in Colorado. Perry is preceded in death by his parents; left to cherish his memory is his wife of 31 years, Sandra Maxwell; daughter Melinda Maxwell Beane and husband Clif; daughter Stacey Maxwell Nardi and husband David; 5 grandchildren Alexander Beane, Michela Nardi, Madison Nardi, Maxwell Nardi and Miles Nardi; first cousin Sally Kay Maxwell Hemphill along with numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00pm, on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home in Irving. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at St. Michael & All Angels Church (Chapel), 8011 Douglas Ave. in Dallas. An interment and graveside service will be held 2:30 PM at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham. The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of your choice in Perry’s honor.
