Obituary for Kenn

Kenn
Kenneth Maynard Sloan “Kenn”, age 69 died on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Kenn was born on May 28, 1949 in Village of Sidney, New York to Kenneth Sloan and Shirley Virginia (Rosa) Sloan. Kenn had a great personality and a knack for making people laugh. He was very charismatic, friendly and always upbeat. These traits accompanied him well with his career as a ticket agent for an airlines company. Kenn was the type of person that willingly sacrificed his needs to meet the needs of others. He was the epitome of “Character”. He was always for everyone else, never himself. Kenn had an extremely independent spirit but couldn’t do without his dog sissy, whom he loved very much. Kenn is preceded in death by his parents and nephews Kaveda Stilson and Shawn Wilson. Left to cherish his memory are Viletta and husband Ralph Peck of Masonville, New York, Beatrice and husband William Stilson of Abilene, Texas, Kitty and husband David Allen of Benbrook, Texas; very dear friend Charles Henderson of Crowley, Texas; sweet beloved dog Sissy; as well as numerous other extended family and loving friends. A Graveside Committal with Military Honors will be held at 10:15am, Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the SPCA. You are welcome to leave the family a note of condolence or make a donation by visiting our website at www.brownmem.com.
