Norma Rhae Bailey (Baumgardner) age 80, died peacefully at home on Monday, November 19, 2018. She was born in Tazewell, Virginia to George and Virgie (Lambert) Baumgardner on Saturday, February 26, 1938. Norma will lovingly be remembered for her caring and nurturing personality and being a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, as well as her clever quick wit, and funny personality. She gladly donated her time, volunteering for 10 years at Irving Community Hospital. Norma’s favorite season has always been the fall, she enjoyed painting with oils in her spare time and had the most fun and thoroughly enjoyed going on cruises. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Virgie, 6 sisters, Daisy Dillow, Anna Young, Ethel Yates, Ella Meek, Dorothy Moore and Rosalie Brasher, husband Joe Bailey, daughter Marta Bailey and grandson Trenton Bailey. Left to cherish her memory are son Rocky Bailey and wife Alysia; daughter Lorna Bailey; daughter Dana Mullennix and husband Ray; grandchildren Brandon Bailey and wife Rachel, Justin Bailey and wife Leah, Rory Harmon and husband Scott, Collin Randle and wife Samantha, Garret Randle and fiancé Ellie Espinoza, Meagan Del Curto and husband Jerad, Alex Clark and fiancé Chris Darr, Sydnee Mullennix and Casey Mullennix; 17 great grandchildren; sister Sue Robinson along with numerous extended family and friends. A celebration of life will be held between 1:00 and 4:00pm, Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 1350 Meyers Rd. in Irving. The family requests memorial donations to the SPCA of Texas.
