Dorothy Puder, age 81, died on Sunday, December 9, 2018. Dorothy was born on August 11, 1937 in Bellevue, Ohio to Delbert Strecker and Blanche (Hayward) Strecker. Dorothy was a registered nurse working in the recovery room at Irving Community Hospital which is now known as Baylor Scott & White Irving. She was a long-time member of Plymouth Park United Methodist Church, and later in life moved her membership to First United Methodist of Grapevine. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Delbert and Harold Strecker; and grandson Zach Ross. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Raymond Todd Puder; daughters Gail Ross and husband Brian of Scroggins, TX, Sharon Conner and husband Judd of Hideaway, TX; son Raymond Michael Puder of Savannah, GA; brother Richard Strecker of Bellevue, OH; grandchildren Andy Ross, Jake Conner and wife Dani, Kylie Conner, Stephanie Carroll and husband Jonathan, Nick Puder and wife Laura as well as many other extended family and loving friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Plymouth Park United Methodist Church, 1615 W. Airport Frwy, Irving, TX 75062. An interment will be held at a later date at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Association.
