Wayne McDonald, age 81, was reunited with his wife of over 60 years, Donna Rae McDonald, on Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Ray and Marie (Chriss) McDonald on Wednesday, July 28, 1937. Wayne was a very hard worker, with a strong work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit. These traits where recognized by all that new him throughout his life, as he was able to manage 3 different filling stations in West Texas in his younger years, and was self-employed, running his own business the majority of his life. Wayne will lovingly be remembered for his kind, caring, devoted and charitable nature. He found joy in his involvement with toy drives and such for the Edna Gladney Childrens Home, was always looking out for the needs of others. Wayne loved and was devoted above all to his family and was an amazing father, and even more amazing grandfather, loving his grandchildren “to the moon and back.” He was a member of the Choctaw Tribe, a big fan of John Wayne, Dallas Cowboys and antique cars, especially his 39’ Mercury. He is preceded in death by his wife Donna, both parents and brothers Bobby and Raymond McDonald. Left to cherish his memory are daughter Stacy Easter and husband Riley; grandchildren Wesley Lee Easter and wife Amber; great grandchildren Seth, Sean, Tyler and Carmen Rose Easter; brother Joseph Marion McDonald along with numerous extended family and friends.
