Obituary for Glen Mora

Glen Mora was born on September 6, 1932 in Nacogdoches, TX and passed in peace surrounded by his family on February 23, 2019.
Glen proudly served in the United States Army. He was employed by Western Union for 33 years. After retiring from Western Union, Glen worked at GTE for 10 years, followed by 16 years with the City of Irving.
Preceded in death by his parents, John and Addie Mora; brothers Walter Mora, Thomas Mora, Johnnie Mora and Lewis Mora and sisters Betty Shadden, Alice Brock, Allie Jordan and Josephine Skrivanek.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Aline Mora, his sister Eddie Houston of Irving, his son, Charles Mora & wife Janell of Irving; daughter Carolyn Beavers & husband Randy of Irving; grandchildren Mike & wife Michelle, Matt, Ashley, Dalton and Justin; great grandchildren, Zoey & Tessa, along with numerous extended family and loving friends.
Glen was well known for his sense of humor and endless jokes. He loved his family and firmly believed in providing for his family. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends between 6:00 and 8:00pm, Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd in Irving. A funeral service will be held 11:00am, Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Grace Pointe Church, 208 S. South Story Rd in Irving. A committal with Military Honors will follow at 1:00pm, at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy in Dallas.
