Lexxa Doze – Masterson, was taken suddenly from this life, at the young age of 28 on Thursday, May 23, 2019. She was born in Irving, Texas to Roderick Curtis Doze and Charlean Celeste Simon on Monday, April 29, 1991. Although Lexxa is no longer here on earth, she will live on in the hearts and lives of her family and many friends. They will always lovingly remember her for her big heart, caring nature and a little sassiness that everyone adored. She was an amazing daughter, wife, mother, sister and friend to many, and although her time here on earth was short, she touched the lives of all that met her. Lexxa is preceded in death by her father Roderick Curtis Doze. Left to cherish her memory are mother Charlean Smith – Turner and step father Jason Turner of Midlothian, TX; husband John Masterson of Midlothian, TX; daughter Sydney Masterson of Midlothian, TX; daughter Alora Barnes, adopted by uncle Vance and aunt Stephanie Barnes of Bennington, OK; brother Trace Smith of Fort Worth, TX; Grandparents Jim Simon and Kellie Hall of Dallas, TX, Celeste Simon of Bennington, OK, Doris Doze of Irving, TX and Stan and Cindy Doze of Mabank, TX; uncle Jason Doze as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and loving friends located all around Irving, Midlothian, Mabank and Oklahoma. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Lexxa will be held 10:00am, Monday, May 27, 2019 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd in Irving. The family invites you to join them after the service for a reception at Los Lupes, located at Beltline and 183, connected to the Irving Mall.
