Sandra Pursley, age 83, died peacefully in her own home on Saturday, June 8th, 2019. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Royce and Violet (Woodard) Edwards on Sunday, November 17, 1935. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Gary Doyle Pursley, grandson Christopher Glenn Pursley, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Left to cherish her memory are son Glenn Pursley and spouse Nora; son Wayne Pursley and spouse Julie; son Travis Pursley and spouse Janet; granddaughter Priscilla Okoye and spouse Geoffrey; granddaughter Ashley Pursley; granddaughter Alex Pursley; grandson Austin Pursley; grandson Chad Pursley; granddaughter Abby Pursley, as well as numerous other family she counted as her own. A memorial service will be held 10:00 am, Friday, June 28, 2019 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 N. MacArthur Blvd in Irving. Everyone is invited to regather at 12:30 for an inurnment at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mtn Creek Pkwy.15 minutes prior to the service, friends and family attending, will begin the processional line up at the cemetery in Lane 3.
