Barbara Yeager Adams, age 77, entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. She was born in Lawton, Oklahoma to George Powell Jr. and Edna Irene (Johnston) Powell on Sunday, May 24, 1942. Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Her family fondly remembers her sassy personality and her great sense of humor. Barbara was a lover of all animals, but her cat Lacey held an extra special place in her heart. She was a longtime Baptist who enjoyed spending time at the lake, shopping and was a huge history buff. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, son Bradley Lee Yeager and her spouse Kenneth Ray Yeager. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Kathy Yeager Allman and husband Mark; brother Richard Powell and wife Irene; sister Pamela Baxter; grandson Matthew Allman; granddaughter Jessica Yeager; grandson Austin Yeager and wife Erika; grandson Grant Summers; several great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; beloved cat Lacey as well as other extended family and friends.
