Obituary for Mary Ann Green (Wallace)

Mary Ann Green entered the gates of Heaven on Sunday, July 14th, 2019 at the age of 85. She was born in Monroe, Louisiana to Fannie Mae Roberson on May 20th, 1934. She moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1959 at the age of 18, where she lived until she moved to Texas in 2016 with her youngest daughter Tammy Bell.
Mary was the matriarch of the family with five generations of loved ones that she helped raise and take care of. She is survived by daughter Darnell Woodfin, daughter Gwendolyn Davis, daughter Emma Cook, and daughter Tammy Bell. Grandchildren; Christine Smith, Candence Martin, Carlon Hudson, Demetre (Von) Wallace, Eddie R Woodfin, Brandon Ard, Brittney Bell, Jessica Cook, Tanisha Alexander, Darylynn Cook and Alisha Terrazas. Great Grandchildren; Monte Wallace, Tatiana Miller, Alexis Foster, LaKyndra Foster, Jonathan Smith, and Maurice Smith. She has a multitude of grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in the death by three grandsons; William (Billy) Wallace, Jason (Bobby) Cook, and Charles Alexander Jr.
Mary was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, cousin and friend who enjoyed cooking, fishing, reading, going to bingo, listening to blues, watching wrestling and a lifelong Baptist. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone in the time of need. She is loved by everyone and will be missed tremendously.
