Marshall Cantrell Thornton, age 85, died peacefully at home on Monday, July 22, 2019. Marshall was born in Dallas, Texas on September 26, 1933 to Aubrey Olen Thornton and Stella Kathrine Cantrell. Marshall proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a loving and great father of five children, an even more loving and caring grandfather and great grandfather. Marshall is preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sister and daughter Vickie Bell. Left to cherish his memory is wife of forty-eight years, Deborah Thornton, daughter Karen Bruton and husband Gene; daughter Kay Weinmann and husband Gregg; son Marshall Cantrell Thornton, Jr. and wife Aymie; daughter Amber Cannon and husband Victor; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.
