Virginia Hearn entered her eternal home in Heaven on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 82 years of age. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Willie Vernon and Myrtle Mae (Sanders) Francis on Friday, May 7, 1937. Virginia married the love of her life George Hearn in 1960 and began a family. She was a loving and attentive wife, mother and homemaker to their 4 children. Virginia’s favorite times were spent with her family and found the most joyous moments to be when she became a Granny to both her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is reunited with her husband of 59 years, George “Poppy’ Hearn. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Georgina “Susie” Waugh and husband Ed; son George A. Hearn, Jr.; son Gene A. Hearn and wife Beverly; son Greg A. Hearn and wife Julie; 8 grandchildren, Jana, Edward, Aubry, Amber, Bethany, Kasey, Brittany and Brandey; 4 great grandchildren Karli, Zachary, Bella and Benjamin and 1 due in March of 2020 along with numerous extended family and loving friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Grace Pointe Church, 208 S. Story Rd. in Irving. The family will unite Virginia with Poppy at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery privately at a later date.
