Jeane Dato, age 83, died on Friday, November 01, 2019. Jeane was born in Dallas, Texas on February 27, 1936 to Francis Weaver and Vera (Williams) Weaver. Jeane Dato was a gifted real estate agent who served the Irving community for an excess of fifty years. She was a joy and blessing to do business with. Jeane was a loving wife to her husband George for forty-nine years and they are now together again. Jeane loved her family and did her best to care for her children. She found great joy in bowling in her younger years and gambling was another passion she often engaged in with a couple of her close friends. Jeane is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Karen Rice and husband Billy; son Vance Dato; grandchildren Shawn, Stephanie, Steven and Shane Rice, Jason, Chase, Gabe, and Zach Dato; great grandchildren Jaxon, Henry, Whitley, and Avery; as well as numerous other extended family and loving friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Brown’s Memorial Funeral Home, 707 North MacArthur Blvd., Irving, TX 75061. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the funeral home with a graveside immediately following at Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243.
