Douglas Ray Chandler- Husband- Father- Grandfather - Greatgrandfather and Hero!

Doug was my father in law for twelve years. I cannot begin to tell all that he and Marilyn did for me, and my children. Doug was also very good friends with my father Louis Olive.  After my divorce from Dougs oldest  son Gary Chandler, I along with my children Stacy Chandler - Ihnken and Jeff Chandler moved into an apartment, Doug would meet my father at  Doyles Barbershop, to discuss what  we needed, (groceries, help with rent, utilities, ect.) I would have loved to be a fly on the wall listening in on those conversations.

I cannot express enough how much I loved Doug. He and Marilyn, along with my parents took me under their "wings"  This was no small task I assure you. They would help me pay rent, groceries, childcare, whatever was needed, I did work, but did not make enough to cover everything.  So Doug and Marilyn, my father Louis Olive and mom Wanda, would have discussions on who would do what!  All I can say is that Doug and Louis are probably having a chat now at Doyles Barbershop in heaven !

Thank you Doug for being a second father to me and a grandfather to my kids Stacy & Jeff .
