Uncle Dale
My thoughts turn to your dad, and all he has meant to our family. But more specifically what he has meant to me. He is my cool Uncle Dale that drove a Lincoln Continental with kissing doors. He is larger than life, with an equally big smile and laugh, and a hug that engulfs you. I always feel safe with him. I know we will never be lost because he's at the wheel. He can drive anything, anywhere, and no matter what happens: keys locked in the trunk, lost child on a pedal tractor (who shall remain nameless), or young boys who have managed to knock the car out of gear and are cruising hilly driveways; he will be the hero that saves the day. My Uncle Dale is all this and so much more. I feel appreciative and blessed to know him.
